What helps most
- Both addresses, including the floor and whether there is a lift
- The stairwell — how many flights, and how tight the turn is
- Roughly how much there is, including the basement, loft or box room
- Whether the building has rules: a porter, a goods lift, a booking window
- How much packing you want done, and whether you need storage between places
- Your date, even if it is still provisional
What happens next
We read it, come back to arrange a survey, and quote in writing afterwards. If the access looks difficult we will say so up front rather than discovering it on the day.
