A Camden firm that plans the access first
A removals firm that works almost entirely in buildings which were never designed for removals, and has stopped being surprised by it.
Where we work
The London Borough of Camden — NW1, NW3, NW5, WC1 and N1C. Camden Town and the canal, Kentish Town and the hill, Hampstead and Belsize Park, Bloomsbury and Holborn, and the Kings Cross side.
We go well beyond it for long-distance and European work, but the borough is the patch. Where a job is genuinely London-wide rather than Camden-shaped, we will say so and point you at a sister site that covers the whole city properly.
Access before everything
In most places a removals quote is about volume. Here it is about the route the volume has to travel. The stairwell turn, the communal door, the goods lift and its booking sheet, the controlled bay outside and the red route at the end of the street — those decide the day, and none of them appear on a floor plan.
So we look first. At the property, or on a video call, which for flats is frequently better: walk us up the stairs on the camera and we see exactly what the crew will face. It takes minutes and it is the difference between a crew that arrives ready and one that arrives and starts problem-solving in your hallway.
What we say about time and cost
We quote in writing after a survey, and the written quote is the number. If something genuinely changes — a second address appears, or the lift fails on the morning — we tell you what it means before we act on it rather than after.
We do not publish prices or transit windows here, because neither is meaningful before we have seen the job. What we can tell you in advance is exactly what is included and what would change it.
Your neighbours did not agree to your move
Communal doors, landings and stair runs are shared. Protection goes on the edges, the front door is not propped longer than the carry needs, and the stair stays passable throughout. It costs a few minutes and it avoids the letter from the managing agent — which in a borough of blocks and conversions is a real and recurring consequence.
Small jobs, same standard
A single room, a studio or one heavy thing off the market gets the same crews and the same protection as a five-floor house in Hampstead. Smaller vehicle, shorter day, same job done properly.
What we do not do
We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.
Cover
Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we will confirm in writing what applies. The contractual position is on the terms page.
Getting hold of us
The quote form is quickest. Contact has the rest, questions covers what comes up first, and areas we cover shows exactly where our ground runs out.
Moving in Camden?
Send the outline — both addresses, the floor at each end, and roughly how much there is. We come back with a written quote, not a phone number to chase.
